In spring 2026, I took part in Makers Club at Masaryk University. Across workshops at the university, FabLab Brno, and Otevřená dílna Rosice, I reflected upon the role of makerspaces in today's world, as well as tried laser cutting, sewing, heat-transfer printing, woodworking, and 3D printing. As a final project, I made a birthday gift for my wife: a small 3D-printed printing press based on the Open Press Project.
